A lot of terms are used in an attempt to describe this festival; however it is literally impossible to put in plain words if you have not had the chance to attend it. A Life experience! Set in the desert, 40 000 people, 20hrs non-stop music, alternating between Electro, Techno, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass & Dubstep, Monegros is a unique event. NERO – LIVE (UK) Nero is a British electronic music duo composed of members Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray and often featuring vocalist Alana Watson. Signed to Chase & Status record label, the band first appeared in 2008 gradually building up a following which culminated in them releasing their debut album in 2011 ‚Welcome Reality‘ which reached number one in the UK Albums Chart. In August 2012, „Promises“ achieved gold status in the United States. On 10 February 2013, Nero won a Grammy for their collaborative remix with Skrillex of Promises.

THE NEW M-NUS GENERATION:
The label from Richie Hawtin has always been good to discover new talents. The two Italians Karm and Matteo from Tale Of Us, now living in Berlin released their debut on Visionquest (Label of Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves & Lee Curtiss) before taking the world by surprise with their remixes (Crosstown Rebel) and releases on Life & Death, Visionquest or M-nus. They will be joined by the live of Matador which has shown with his EP Kingswing that a new generation of artists are ready to take minimal to a new level. ** TECHNO with SURGEON, BEN SIMS LIVE, DAVE CLARKE OSCAR MULERO**
Monegros has always supported techno in its purest form – In addition to Berghain residents Marcel Dettmann & Ben Klock, the 2013 edition of Monegros will count with the vintage sounds of techno pioneers such as Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims with an exclusive live for Monegros as well as Spanish pioneer Oscar Mulero.

Monegros goes back to its roots and reopens for the 3rd year the OPEN AIR Stage. Expect full techno, minimal and house. The Open air will also close with a showcase of the infamous Barcelona parties with the mighty Luciano and all the Elrow residents (De La Swing – Marc Maya – Mario Biani – Oscar Aguilera – Raul Mezcolanza – Toni Varga). Expect craziness, toys, inflatables, party costumes – ELROW takes the party wherever they go.
